Healthy Vegan Fridays #142

 Happy Friday everyone! 

How has your week been? Mine was actually pretty good. I started my new semester of nutrition classes last weekend. I’m taking Functional Medicine Nutrition and Nutritional Therapeutics. I only have one semester to go after this and everything is coming together. Each class has prepared me for the next and we’re starting to read blood panels so I can help clients with any nutritional deficiencies. It’s so exciting (we for me who’s a nutrition geek)!

This Homemade Whipped Body Butter from Eating Well Diary looks great for skin in this cold and wintery weather.


I would love to have Urban Naturale’s Raw  Vegan Angel Hair Zucchini Pasta with Neat Balls for dinner tonight! The creamy marinara sauce looks so flavorful!


I already told Kimmy I’ll be making her Lemon Artichoke Dip this weekend. I love every ingredient she uses. I’m so excited to curl up on the couch with Matt and the pups this weekend and partake in this dip!

Today I’m sharing my Teriyaki Tempeh. If you’ve had tempeh before and might not have liked it, check out the recipe. I steam and marinate it before cooking which takes out some of the bitterness and adds more flavor.

    And so many yummy looking recipes this week again! I really MUST try your tempeh because I really want to like it. Tempeh and I aren’t friends… lol

    1. Right? It looks so good. I make something similar because my skin gets so dry during the winter.

      Let me know if you ever try the tempeh – I know it can be scary – I’ve been there!
