    Green Vibrance

Green Vibrance by Vibrant Health has been on the market since 1992 and has won the highest number of prestigious awards for its brilliance as a healthy formula. This brand has not only been in business so long, but it’s also the most awarded greens supplement on the market, which shows just how reliable the formula is.

Green Vibrance also contains over 70 ingredients, including potent super greens ingredients, fruits, enzymes, probiotics, prebiotics, herbs, extracts, and more.

    AG1 vs. Green Vibrance Benefits

There are benefits to integrating a greens powder in your daily diet, and between Athletic Greens and Green Vibrance - there are many differences.

    AG1 Benefits

AG1 has gone to the effort of dedicating an entire part of their website to the benefits of the formula. They have been transparent with the list of benefits that each ingredient will provide.

Athletic Greens’ transparency in regards to the specific health benefits of each ingredient, as well as the claims that the athletic greens brand makes about the formula, makes it incredibly attractive. They claim that athletic greens will boost the immune system, protect cells from radical damage, support the digestive system, reduce stress levels, and enhance nutrient absorption.

But there is a significant issue in regards to Athletic Greens’ transparency, or lack thereof, in regards to the amount of each ingredient in a serving. It’s particularly strange that the brand has suspiciously chosen to go into so much detail about the benefits of each ingredient but has not disclosed information regarding the amounts of each ingredient.

    Green Vibrance Benefits

Green Vibrance is designed to help the user with whole-body wellness due to the health benefits they state are in the formula. These health benefits are built around the four pillars of health wellness—nutrition, circulation, digestion, and immunity.

The brand claims that the formula will help the body to function in the most efficient way possible, increase energy levels and boost the immune system.

There are three ingredients highlighted for their impressive health benefits—probiotics, wheatgrass, and spirulina. The billions of probiotics support digestion and transport nutrients. The wheatgrass detoxifies, alkalizes, and supports the immune system. The spirulina provides protein and increases immunity.

The way Athletic Greens displays the formula’s health benefits is far more transparent and provides more clarity, but it’s unclear whether these health benefits will actually exist because the formula is made using proprietary blends.

    AG1 vs. Green Vibrance Ingredients

Ingredients can make or break the quality of greens powders, here are the key ingredients and how they can affect your daily intake of nutrients.

    AG1 Ingredients

Contains 75 healthy ingredients, including prebiotics, probiotics, enzymes, and adaptogen. The formula is vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free, keto-friendly, paleo-friendly, and non-GMO, making it suitable for a wide range of people with food-specific allergies.

According to Athletic Greens, their list of ingredients is really impressive and really nutritious, but unfortunately, proprietary blends are used in the formula.

Proprietary blends are a unique preparation of ingredients in a dietary supplement that is formulated for a specific purpose, typically to help with the form, nutritional value, or taste of a dietary supplement. Most of the time, when it comes to brands using proprietary blends, a majority of the ingredients won’t be sufficiently weighted to provide the health benefits the brand claims the formula will. This means that proprietary blends make any information about a dietary supplement unreliable.

With Athletic Greens, even though we can’t see the exact amount of each ingredient, proprietary blends exist in large amounts, and therefore there is less of a worry of the formula being inaccurate. There might actually be a sufficient amount of ingredients within this formula.

    Green Vibrance Ingredients

Green Vibrance contains over 70 ingredients, just like the Athletic Greens formula. Containing everything from super greens and probiotics to herbs and enzymes, the formula is vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and non-GMO.

It’s not quite as allergy-proof as Athletic Greens, and the formula as a whole isn’t certified organic. However, a large proportion of the ingredients within the formula are certified organic, which is a bonus, and Green Vibrance ingredients are not proprietary blends.

So, unlike Athletic Greens, the Green Vibrance ingredients list is fully disclosed and shows the amount of every ingredient within the formula. This means that the consumer can not only figure out how much of each ingredient they’re consuming, but they can also figure out whether the green powder supplement has the green veggies they may want! This also makes modifying the formula more safe and plausible. And it allows the consumer the ability to research the ingredients and really decide whether Green Vibrance is a formula they wish to put into their bodies.

For instance, Spirulina is always a good super greens ingredient to look at for a green drink, and with a daily recommended dose of between 1-3g, the 600mg within this formula doesn’t quite cut it. So, if you want Spirulina to be a part of your super greens daily dose, Green Vibrance may not be the specific super green for you. However, if you consumed two servings, you could reach the low end of the daily dose recommendation.

This is true for an array of ingredients within the formula, and although this might seem disappointing, at least the consumer knows how much they’re actually consuming, so they can double up if needed.

Athletic Greens vs. Green Vibrance Taste

It’s not enough that it’s healthy - in order for us to take anything everyday it has to taste great! So what do these greens taste like?

    Athletic Greens Taste

    Drinking AG1

Athletic Greens is naturally sweetened using stevia extract, and it’s also flavored using papaya, broccoli powder, cherry powder, carrot, natural pineapple flavor, and natural vanilla flavor. There are a lot of flavorings used to alter the taste of this formula to mixed results.

While some love the subtle taste of the flavorings and the refreshing nature of the formula, others despise how it tastes. However, the flavor is rarely overpowering, and the formula mixes well, leading to there being no grit when the formula settles.

    Green Vibrance Taste

Green Vibrance is available in three flavors: original, chocolate coconut, and matcha tea.

The original flavor contains a flavoring ingredient known as Vanifolia. The chocolate coconut flavor uses natural caramel chocolate coconut flavoring, monk fruit, cocoa powder, and the Vanifolia natural flavoring. The matcha tea flavor simply contains monk fruit extract, vanilla natural flavoring, and the basic Vanifolia natural flavoring.

The formula is commonly reviewed as having a grass-like taste, but it’s easy to drink and mixes well also.

    AG1 vs. Green Vibrance Cost

Which is more affordable? The answer is completely subjective, but here’s a breakdown of the cost between Athletic Greens and Green Vibrance.

    AG1 Cost

Athletic Greens is one of the more expensive super greens formulas on the market, making it unaffordable for a lot of people. A 30-day serving pouch of Athletic Greens can cost anywhere from $80-$120, depending on the method of purchasing used. The average cost a month is $97, which works out at a cost per serving of $3.23.

This is much more expensive than other super greens formulas on the market, which is especially concerning due to it containing proprietary blends.

If you are set on having this formula, you can choose to subscribe to the product and save around 20% in terms of payment. If you did this, the cost per serving would be closer to the average for super greens formulas and would immediately seem more reasonable.

    Green Vibrance Cost

Green Vibrance is relatively low cost compared to Athletic Greens and many other super green formulas. One tub of 30-servings (337.8g) Green Vibrance costs $56.00 on average. This works out at a cost per serving of $1.86.

If you pay for multiple months, you can get a 60-serving Green Vibrance for $80, which is even cheaper on average. If you subscribe to the formula, you can save 20% and get free shipping. This works out at a cost per serving of $1.49 or lower, depending on how large of a serving you purchase.

Regardless, the costs are significantly cheaper than Athletic Greens, even though both of the formulas have a very similar serving size and a similar number of ingredients.

AG1 vs. Green Vibrance: Which Is Better?

In terms of the number of ingredients, the average grams per serving, and the methods of attaining the super green, I’d have to say that these two formulas are pretty close to one another.

The core differences come in the price difference, which definitely favors Green Vibrance, the gluten-free healthy nature of each formula, which slightly favors Athletic Greens, and the proprietary nature of Athletic Greens ingredients, which makes Green Vibrance far more transparent.

For most individuals, Green Vibrance is the more transparent, reliable, and cheaper option. However, for those with certain allergies that Athletic Greens won’t activate but Green Vibrance will, Athletic Greens are a solid alternative.

Additionally, if you are looking for the best athletic greens alternatives, there are a few other options available in the market. These alternatives offer similar benefits to Athletic Greens and can be a great option for those looking for a different taste or price point.
